A very popular for of sign in Australia is an under awning lightbox sign – it’s a smart way to catch people’s eyes from both directions. These types of signs are normally mounted from the ceiling. They can be tricky to install depending on the roof structure. The signs are normally hung from a structural cross beam in the ceiling. The lightbox is made from aluminum which is then powder coated, fluorescent lights are installed in the lighbox. The face of the saign is made from a 3mm perspex which has vinyl graphics applied to the perspex. A special translucent perspex allows the graphic to illuminate evenly and brightly. They normally around 2000mm x 450mm , depending on the logo and the size of the store front.
